Finissage - Entre Nous: Claude Cahun and Clare Rae - CCA Galleries International, Archisle project and Jersey Festival of Words are delighted to invite you to a special Finissage for the exhibition Entre Nous: Clude Cahun and Clare Rae with author Rupert Thomson and Photographic Archivist Gareth Syvret.
Join us at the Gallery for the Entre Nous exhibition finale with Rupert Thomson, author of Never Anyone But You. Rupert's novel tells the story of the love affair between Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore, two revolutionary French female artists. Never Anyone But You explores the story of this extraordinary couple who smashed gender boundaries and ultimately risked their lives to overcome oppression. Following on from his talk at Jersey Arts Centre at 11am that morning, Rupert will be responding to the photographs of Claude Cahun and Clare Rae and signing copies of his book. Signed copies of Clare Rae's new book Never Standing on Two Feet will also be available for purchase.
