He has achieved recognition, having been shortlisted for prestigious awards such as the John Moores Painting Prize and the BEEP Painting Biennial. In 2014, he served as an artist in residence at Fettes College.
Le Breuilly's artwork can be found in private collections spanning Edinburgh, South Africa, London, and the Royal Collection in Sharjah, UAE.
Taking inspiration from real, imagined or local places, the works showcased at the gallery assimilate human emotion, memory and personal experience into landscapes and seascapes.
The compositions Le Breuilly portrays may be drawn from the real world, harkening back to familiar locations or distant travel destinations, or they might be born from the depths of his imagination, materialized into existence to encapsulate the essence of a feeling. Regardless of their origin, these landscapes become a blank canvas for the viewer's own imagination, allowing them to wander through the artist's emotional terrain.
